BTB

Busstorgetbladet is a fanzine for the voices of people at Busstorget in Östersund. It was produced in four issues in 2019-2020, and each issue had its own theme; BTB #1 ‘min resa’, BTB #2 ‘framtiden’, BTB #3 ‘drömmar’, BTB #4 ‘Mitt Busstorg’. A publication of this format is entirely dependent on peoples’ contributions and their desire to share. It can be a place to own one’s story without vested commercial or political interests. Local journalist Malin Palmqvist (Den dolda staden, Det dolda landskapet) has worked with us on BTB in the format of workshops on site. Material was produced by and collected from visitors and travellers on Busstorget and Länstrafiken regional bus service and processed and printed on the Busstorget balcony followed by a release event on the floor at the end of the workshop. Contributors and travellers could pick up their own hard copy at the release event. Copies of BTB were then available for pick up from the Länstrafiken reception at Busstorget.
